Betos Mexican Restaurant gives to CHANCES

Take one Mexican Restaurant, one non-profit organization for the Developmentally Disabled, and the last two weeks of every month and you have a great recipe for success!

Not only does Betos have wonderful food but they have a huge heart for CHANCES of Stone County; a new organization that is helping make lives better for developmentally disabled citizens in Stone County.  Betos will donate 10% of each customer’s check, during the last two weeks of each month, to CHANCES.  All you have to do is to identify that you are eating for CHANCES and 10% of your total bill gets donated to them.  There is no time limit to this offer.

Betos Authentic Sonora Style Mexican Food is a very good off-the-beaten-path restaurant owned by Cherie Valdez.  She cooks all of her Sonora style recipes fresh from scratch.  You can request a sampling of the variety of different meats and sauces.  If your taste buds like it spicier, they can deliver the heat, all you have to do is ask.  They are located at 17201 Bus Hwy 13, Branson West, MO 65737.  They are open from 10 to 8, Monday through Saturday.  You can dine in or carry out.  Call them at 417-272-0770.

 IRONMAN

Ironman Triathlon has come and gone. We had over 25 wonderful volunteers helping with our Run Course Aid Station #3. We all had an excellent time and admire the athletes that compete in these events. I'd especially like to thank the athletes who took a moment to slow down and take water from our CHANCES members. It was so awesome to see the faces of our children when they did this!
